| Advanced professional education, thriving in the development ofadvanced education in China as a new type, is the senior stage invocational and technical education. It aims to cultivate the graduates withboth theoretical and applied knowledge. The graduates should besensitive to the world, be good at finding problems, and have the abilityto seek their respective solutions. Therefore, emphasis should be focusedon students' comprehensive vocational ability. To do this, teacher shouldencourage students to think problems themselves and to solve theproblems in an independent way. In 21st century, the key point of nationalcompetition lies in the quality of human resource, which will bedetermined ultimately by their creativity. Moreover, students' questionconsciousness ability will directly influences their creativity. On the otherhand, concrete subjects teaching has a great influence to train students'question consciousness ability. Without it, the training of questionconsciousness is easily to have no results. Judging from the questionaire,students in professional college dislike studying or asking questions, oreven don't know how to ask questions for fearing that teachers and theirclassmates will scoff them. In this way, students' ability to find questionsbecame worse and worse. At present, most advanced college teachers justimitate academic universities' "filling ducks" teaching methods: teachersjust gives lessons standing in the platform and students just takes notessitting there without paying attention to cultivate ability of consciousness.In the 19th century, a German educationist named Disduhui pointed out ," scientific knowledge should not be 'taught' to students directly. Instead,it should be instructed students to find it and grasp it by themselves".Therefore, he concluded his famous motto: "A poor teacher just givestruth while an excellent teacher should teach others to find the truth."Basing on the present condition of advenced professional education,the author of this thesis is trying to probe ways to cultivate students'consciousness of questioning in biology class. This thesis mainlysupplies seven methods to cultivate students' question consciousnessability as follows:1. To stimulate students' motivation of studying biology by makingthem realize the importance of studying it well.2.To increase students' interests in learning biology by changing theteaching methods.3.To encourage students to question anything by creating ademocratic atmosphere.4.To cultivate students' consciousness of questioning by creatingquestioning circumstances.5.To promote the formation of the consciousness of questioning byteaching students the skills of questioning.6.To cultivate students' consciousness of questioning by carrying outresearching study activities.7.To cultivate students' consciousness of questioning in teachingprocess.The experiment adopts the educational and experimental model ofcomparison between the experimental group and the comparative group.The experimental group has made a great progress in their consciousnessof questioning compared with the comparative groups through fivemonth's teaching practice. Therefore, the experiment demonstrates that itis reasonable to abandon "filling ducks " teaching method and pay moreattention to cultivate students' consciousness of questioning. It willstimulate students' studying interests and enhance students' consciousnessof questioning. Moreover, it will promote students' creativity ability withthe aim to accomplish advanced professional education. |
