For a bng time, there lias been significant differences in many aspects among areas in jiangsu coastal, such as nature resource, Infrastructure, ability to attract foreign investment, Government policy efforts and so on, triggering significant differences among different areas in both size and quality of the development of marine economy. Although diversity of marine economy Development, in a certain extent, may play a role in promoting economic development, with the continued expansion of gaps among regions, the devetopment of backward areas will be restricted, for instance, limiting the effective demand, reducing capital circulation and Efficiency of resources allocation Hindering the release of region’s marine economic potential, which Eventually lead to the development of marine economy in Jiangsu Province difficult to sustain and miss the round of devetopment opportunities. Therefore, seeking for the dynamic mechanism of the spatial differences of marine economic devetopment in Jiangsu, discussing effective measures to reduce regional differences, in depth carrying out and implementing the national marine economic devetopment strategic planning, grasping the current round of strategic opportunities to promote sustainable economic devetopment of the region, is the practical problems to be solved at the moment.This article aims to deconstruct the regional differences of marine economy in Jiangsu deconstruction through statistical analysis and econometric methods, in-depth to reveal the inherent dynamic mechanism of the region’s marine economic differences, to build the model to explain and verify the effect of impact factors on the Differences, which has an important theoretical meaning and practical significance for holding the direction of Jiangsu marine economy healthy and rapid development and coordinated growth of regional marine economy.In this research, we first cut from the connotation of the marine economy and regional differences, and use the space center of gravity, the Theil index, the specialization index to analyse the regional spatial differences of marine economy in Jiangsu, based on the theories of regional marine economic differences, to get movements trends of the differences. Then, we use the county panel data from2000-2009to establish the measurement model of relationship between impact factors and phenomenon, testing the impact factors of the regional economic differences of marine area in Jiangsu. The result interpreted that labor force, regional capital accumulation, foreign direct investment, transportation accessibility have significant impact on the differences among areas, especially the labor force. Finally, we give some policy recommendations for the balanced growth of the regional economic of Jiangsu marine area, including accelerating innovations on personnel training, promoting coastal counties urbanization, rational planning of the county industrial development direction to accelerate the adjustment of industrial structure, continuing to implement policies to attract foreign direct investment, and actively carrying out regional cooperation to effectively reduce the regional economic differences in Jiangsu marine area. |
