Research On Competitive Intelligence Requirement Of International Trade

Since China became one member of WTO, Chinese enterprises meet furious trade conflict than before. How to use competitive intelligence for pre-alarming and answering-up such trade conflict is a worthwhile problem. The very important work be done firstly is ascertaining competitive intelligence requirement of trade. From the view point of intelligence requirement, the writer tries to ascertain content of competitive intelligence requirement of trade basing case analysis of trade conflict met by Chinese enterprises and questionnaire investigation of competitive intelligence requirement of trade needed by correlative enterprises. On the foundation of this, trade intelligence servings offered by government and agency are analyzed. It may not only help Chinese enterprises answering-up and deducing losing in internal trade, but also help them getting profit.Basing analysis of main trade barriers which are suffered by Chinese enterprises, the writer thinks competitive intelligence is necessary. Though three types of lack named lacking content of trade intelligence, improper operation of trade intelligence source and encumbrance of trade intelligence transfer are found through searching about several cases of Chinese enterprises suffered by trade barriers, competitive intelligence is found operating as notice, pre-alarming and answering-up through tailing, transferring and spreading. And from analysis of questionnaire investigation, it is found that the main content of trade competitive intelligence needed by Chinese enterprises are pre-alarming index and favorable information of answering-up and the rush need of trade intelligence serving is modification of standard. Net of guild, net of government and interior publication of enterprise are used frequently by those enterprises. So the writer establishes a pre-alarming index system of trade competitive intelligence and thinks government, agencies and enterprises should collect information, analyze intelligence and serve each other. At the same time, government, agencies and enterprises must often contact and communicate in order to make sure that trade competitive intelligence can diffuse favorably, and it should be transferred betimes to inquirer. Though there is no perfect system of pre-alarming and answering-up, establishing a service system of trade competitive intelligence formed by government, agencies and enterprises is tested in Beijing and Guangzhou.
