With increasing of population and the reducing of cultivated land, agricultural production resources are getting shortage, how to increase the yield and the labor productivity under the condition of protecting environment is a very severe problem. Information technology and biology technology are two very important for agricultural development, Intelligent Decision System which is as a information technology is playing a important role for promoting agricultural production. However, how to make the extension of Intelligent Decision System is also a challenge.The thesis studied extension and application model of Intelligent Decision System for com production management. The aim of this research is to determine the main factors affecting farmers' adoption behavior of "Intelligent decision System" based on the data from the Nongan country and Yushu city in Jilin Province. And In order to enlarge the extension scale, the fittest extension model of this system was studied also.In order to analysis the main limit factors of extension for this Intelligent Decision System, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods were adopted. The main factors which affect farmers' adoption of the technology were determined by Logit Model.The research results show that 1) It could bring notable economic and social benefits. Economic benefit was reflected in increasing yield, effect and income. Social benefit was reflected in decreasing fertilizer use, reducing environment pollution and enhancing farmers' diathesis, 2)This system did not been extended widely , its extension is only limited in the 863 intelligent agricultural demonstration engineering . The spreading effects of this technology was not significant;3)The first reason of farmers accepted this technology is that by using this technology can help farmers increase their yield and income, The second reason is there are many free training times, 4)The optimum extension model of this system in Nongan country and Yushu City is by "government + fanner" way.The following suggestions are put forward based on the above results: 1)Adopt different extension strategies to different farmers;2)Improving agricultural software's stability, strengthen its haleness. 3) Strengthening trainings to farmers;4)Reinforce government investment for this system propaganda, demonstration and trainings.
