Research On Performance Measurement And Developing Strategy Of Electric Power Enterprise

Performance evaluation for corporation is an important problem in the fields of capital market and corporation management, and it's an important problem that has more realistic meaning. The theory of performance evaluation is very complete, however how to imply the theory in practice and how to enhance the theory to satisfy the coming new demand, which is the research's direction.As the reform in electric system, electric power corporation will face to market's competence and challenge, so the corporation must enhance the consciousness's capital operation, put performance in the center, and take maximum profit as management's target. Meantime, the analytic module of Electric Corporation's economy has great change. The most important question for Electric Corporation is that how to explode before monopolization and how to think the profit as management's target. So the Electric Corporation need a scientific and practice and useful performance measurement theory, which can help the corporation to make perfect decision and get more market.Through the analysis of the case, the paper analyzed the exterior environment, the characteristics of Sichuan Electric Corporation, measure 2003's management performance of Sichuan Electric Corporation. This paper adopts the balance scorecard method put forward by Kaplan and Norton from four aspects, which is finance, the customer, inner process, study and grow up, and established new performance measurement guidelines. Through the new performance measurement guidelines, the paper presents the strategy for Sichuan Electric Corporation to improve management performance and enhance guidelines.Through the analysis of moot, the paper explained that establishing useful performance measurement guidelines was the only method for corporation to accommodate environment and improve itself condition and face active competence.
