For the current coal mine undergroun staff functions of a single network location,the bad network capacity and not being located for more than a moving target at the same time, it is the application of extensive research that ZigBee technology-based positioning system underground staff can solve this problem very well. Through ZigBee subnet we can receive real-time signal of the underground mobile nodes and then transmit them to the ground control center, so we can achieve for personnel to go down real-time location, identification . In this way, on the one hand the ground control center can go down staff attendance; on the other hand,after a coal mine accident we can provide a basis for effective relief.Our research mainly focuses on the following:1. In-depth study IEEE802.15.4 ZigBee wireless communication technology and protocols. After ZigBee protocol stack on the comprehensive study, we will have a more clear understanding of the principles of wireless communications technology, as well as the back of the positioning software program has laid a solid theoretical basis.2. Taking into account development costs and the situation of reality, we have designed and developed the software program of wireless communication nodes and hardware modules. A CC2430 main chip and simple external circuit have formed the positioning module. Discusses the main control chip, the chip structure and communication procedures of the preparation.3. This paper has studyed the wireless sensor node localization algorithm,and had a brief introduction of the distance (range-based), has nothing to do with the distance (range-free) of the common algorithm, and based on the mobile anchor node departure and arrival information, use of RSSI (received signal Strength Indication) algorithm to locate the changes. 4. In laboratory conditions, carried out simulation tests to achieve the desired results.
