Research And Analysis On The QoS And Security Of MPLS Network

In recent years, with the rapid development of the Internet, people rely more and more on the network, the demand for new business is growing too, especially for those high level users,they demand higher and higher quality requirements for business. The increasing online application has put forward new challenges to the traditional IP network technology. The growth of subscribers and business has led to the inflation of network data flow, with no extension of backbone bandwidth and limited processing capacity of IP routers, the network has always encountered congestion in the business peak time. Meanwhile, on one hand MPLS technology has been used more widely and has been recognized as the main backbone network technology of the next generation network. Moreover telecommunication level service quality has been required to ensure for the NGN. On the other hand with the rapid development of information technology, network intrusion tool and hackers'attack means become smarter and smarter, a variety of network security problems has occurred frequently. So in order to establish a next generation network which is managerial, operational, reliable, expansible, economic efficiency and better could satisfy the widely requirement to the QoS,security and free connection etc. the research on QoS and Security of MPLS network has particularly attached more importance.This paper mainly studies the varieties of QoS guarantee mechanism in MPLS network, one of mechanisms has been chosen to be implemented, its validity and practicality has been verified, Its specific work principle has been tested and analyzed. In the mean time, this paper has also analyzed the network security threat of the MPLS network from three planes including control plane, data plane and operation management plane ,tested the existence and severity of security vulnerabilities in the MPLS QoS guarantee mechanism with programming. and finally discussed the possible safety precaution to further ensure secure communication in MPLS network.This study will contribute a lot to all the network operators to apply MPLS to the construction of IP broadband WAN .The operators could take effective advantage of the MPLS advantage in QoS,Routing networking,multi-services supported and make full use of the existing network resources to provide QoS guarantees with distinctive level and security guarantees according to different businesses.
