ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) is a management information system which combine the modern management theory and computer technology. Basing on computer technology, the system collect, transmit, storage and use management information of enterprise, and manage the business process of enterprise such as funds, materials and human resources, etc.. ERP system as an important content of enterprise information building, it play an important role for improving the level of enterprise scientific management, improving efficiency and effectiveness of business operations, reducing costs and shorten the production cycle, improving the competitiveness of enterprises.Basing on enterprise resource planning project of Ningxia Hengli Steel Wire Rope Co. Ltd., this thesis presents the design and implementation of supply and marketing management system. The main works are as follows:1. A brief review of research and application situation of ERP system is given, and the necessity and feasibility of building an information system for the background enterprise is discussed.2. System analysis of the supply and marketing system. The organizational structure and business processes of supply and marketing system in background enterprise are described in detail respectively; DFD (Data Flow Diagram) of target system is designed according to the problems exist in original system.3. Design of supply and marketing management information system. The functional structure, coding schemes, data structures and hardware and software environment of the system are designed based on system analysis.4. In accordance with the principles of supply chain, for procurement, warehouse, sales and other aspects of the business processes, some functions of the supply and marketing management system are implemented to manage the whole process of the logistics operation in order to achieve the objective of analysis and planning in before, controlling and performing in during, tracking and statistics in after, the interfaces of functions are given.The system presented in this thesis partially has been put into practice. The situation of practical applying shows that the system design is reasonable and functions of the system are relatively perfect, which ensure the process of supply and marketing running smooth and basically meet the needs of enterprise in the supply and marketing management, improve the efficiency of business management.
