Tubular reactor is one of the significant reactors in chemical and metallurgical industry, particularly in the dissolution of the pipeline technology applications, it is the major development direction of strengthen dissolution on bauxite, and it is also a very important equipment in the industrial production.With continuous improvement of chemical and metallurgical technical requirements, creating the tubular reactor which is based on the establishment of the automatic control system will greatly improve the operational capability of the reaction process. Also, some factors such as:operating safely and intelligently, maintaining conveniently, economical and practical, etc, are reflected very clearly.According to the operation mode and operation requirements of the tubular stirred reactor, and combining with automatic control principles and control methods, the project of automatic control system is established.The automatic control system for the tubular stirred reactor which is designed with the core of Siemens S7-200 PLC has realized, and the control requirements and the main functions of the new tubular stirred reactor have been carried out. The automatic control system has overcome many weakness of the manual system. It not only enhance the operational capability of the reactor, moreover has a very big superiority on real-time monitoring as well as the gathering each kind of data. The system also has a lot of features, such as:steady operation, comprehensive functions and high reliability. The system contains the following two main points:(1)Hardware design:according reaction process, an automatic control system which can achieve the permian-stirring reaction mode and single-stirring reaction should be designed at the same time. The hardware equipment selection and installation of electrical and external circuit control have been finished according to the design project.(2) Software design:including PLC operational procedures, WinCC configuration system configuration and multi-function data acquisition system in order to achieve the acquisition of all switches, electrical and water flow mixing of process control, and the acquisition of the datum of pressure and torque.
