The background of this paper is based on a pump's constant water pressure control project in a research and development base. Water supply system is a important part of the whole building air conditioner system. It is a multi-input and multi output , nonlinear, long-delay system. whether the water supply is stable and the Operating parameters can achieve the require targets are the keys for the whole producing in the research and development base. The Electricity usage of the building air-conditioning systems accounts for about 60% of the total building's, and the electricity usage of the water supply accounts for 80 percent of the whole air conditioner. Therefore, the research of the methods in controlling pump is also an important subject.In nowadays, most control methods in pump's constant water pressure control in building air conditioner system is traditional PID control, and the quality of the control depends on the regulation of the proportion, Integral and differentiation. Because of the wide coverage of the water supply and the complexity of the pipe network, the system usually has a long time delay,many interrupt factors and load fluctuations of no rules. It is difficult to satisfy all the requirements of the pumps when they run by adjusting the parameters of the system according to the workers'experience alone. Because it takes a long time for the workers to debug the system and the performance will not necessarily meet the requirements.The paper, based on the design steps of engineer application and the logics of academic research, introduces the whole process in designing and constructing a FUZZY- PID controller. The paper blends the traditional PID algorithm and the fuzzy control method to form a new control method is a good way to realize self-tuning parameters. This is of practical meaningfulness for stability of systems both in academic research, or engineering applications.
