Water is indispensable to our daily life and production. In modern times characterized by water and energy conservation, our country is lagging behind in technologies of municipal water supply, water supply for high rises, and industrial water recycling. The situation is deteriorated by severe shortage of water and electricity in our country coupled with low degree of automation. In the peak hours of water usage, the water supply usually falls short of demand, resulting in low hydraulic pressure, which in turn worsens the shortage. Traditionally, the problem is solved by using the elevated cisterns, water-towers, or by storing water and increasing pressure with pressure pans, or by regulating water with baffle plates and valves. The solution which relies on the potential energy of water or atmospheric pressure is riddled by such defects as its demand of large area, big investment, frequent start-up of engines of water pumps, as well as big consumption of electricity, instable pressure of pipeline networks, common occurrence of pipeline explosion and severe leakage. Therefore, the water is subjected to secondary pollution and it is difficult to examine repair and maintain engines of water pumps for frequent start-up leads to frequent malfunction of the engines. So it is urgent to find ways to ensure the normal water supply for industries by fully utilizing water resources and electricity.With the development of electrical and the alternative velocity control technology as well as computer technology, the frequency control technology has been applied in water supply system of constant pressure, which can not only boost the degree of automation but also solve the above-mentioned problems and reduce energy waste.The paper revolves around the design of large and medium-size water supply system in which the adjustable modifying factor PID fuzzy control algorithm and water supply of constant pressure by phase-locked loop...
