Sprint is the integrated forms of speed, strength and technical elements. It's vital for a sprinter to merge the key physical elements on the spot effectively to achieve excellent results. With the advancement of science and technology, these traditional training, like dumbbell weight-bearing exercise, jumping exercises, emphasizing lower limb exercise etc. neglecting upper limb movements, no longer meet the needs of competitive sports.This paper introduces a type of sprint treadmill aiming at training program, which is based on the analysis of the coaches'training requirements for the athletes and the characteristics of Sprint, such as strong explosive force, displacement speed and advanced technology motor coordination required for development. On the basis of ordinary Treadmill, the professional sprint treadmill for teaching - coach treadmill is developed. The coach treadmill can provide coaches with sprinter's real-time data. It can help coaches to detect and correct bad habits and wrong action of athletes in the process of training. The control system of coach treadmill replaced the traditional sprint training methods, enhanced the control of factors affecting directly sprint performance, and regulated the actions of athletes'upper and lower limbs.In this paper, the design and framework of the coach treadmill control system are illustrated; the functions and the relationship of data acquisition module and data storage module are discussed in detail. Data acquisition module takes STC89C51RC SCM (A machine), 12-bit AD678, TJL-1F-type tension sensor and PCF8583 clock chip as the core to achieve intelligent timing acquisition of athletes'driving strength, system parameters are adjusted by input and output module; data storage module takes STC89C51RC SCM (B machine), external memory AT28C256 and USB interface chip PB357A as the core, to achieve the data transfer from external memory to USB devices, which increased the portability of system data. Finally, write VC program to generate human-computer interface on PC.
