| RFID is an automatic identification technology with high-speed development since 1990s, which has the advantage of good technical characteristics and broad market prospects. It combines radio frequency technology and the integration of automatic identification technology. RFID device functions and interfaces become increasingly diversity, and the business application needs more and more features. These caused the application of the system more difficult to access the RFID device directly. RFID middleware is a good solution to this problem. It plays an important role as the bridge between RFID device and RFID application system.This paper designs and implements a set of RFID middleware platform. And it builds the application model of RFID middleware with the area of automobile vehicle manufacturing. First, this paper analyzes the business requiremnet of RFID middleware in the field of automobile vehicle manufacturing. Then on the basis of the introduction of RFID technology, it introduces the RFID middleware in order to solve the problems brought about. Second, referring to many commercial RFID middleware products in the market, the paper build a set of RFID middleware modle following the principle of modularized and reorganizable. Third, it gives a detailed analysis of the model. According to the business functions, the model is devided into serval layers. In turn the paper describes the design module and the software technology which is used in each layer. The key part even describes through the source code examples. At last, it builds a prototype system with the support of the national 863 project. It implements the majority of the RFID middleware design using Java programing language. The prototype system has been used in the four plants of Chery and the system has achieved certain results. |
