With the development of college construction, the construction of universities have been greatly developed, especially in the increment of equipment on teaching and researching. So, in order to make best use of equipment and to overcome the traditional shortcomings of common software system, this paper has researched and developed a university facilities management information system Consistent with the current, which has more practical significance.At first, the author introduces UML technology and J2EE technology related contents and concepts. Then according to the current management of equipment in Anhui science and Technology University, by unified modeling language UML university equipment management series demand analysis and design, with the status quo of the equipment management framework model based on J2EE platform-multilayer structure mode. And then give further details of equipment management in more detailed analysis of the application system and reasonable division for application subsystem's function, for each layer. This thesis also provides reasonable structures. Finally, this passage gives the realization of equipment management system with the core of the prototype system of lightweight framework and technology. Using open-source J2EE platform MyEclipse to design, the system has effectively realized the distributed network management and greatly improved the efficiency of the management and use.This thesis introduces the technologies and related knowledge of system form the following aspects:the requirement analysis, the design of Business layer and Presentation layer which suit for college equipment management, and the database table design and implementation according to the status quo of college management. Through the system analysis, design process and the main part of the introduction, the author fully displays how to use UML to object-oriented analysis and design, and demonstrates the advanced technology and advantages of J2EE application development framework.
