| Since 21st century, with the rapid development of science and technology, public requirements of sci-tech knowledge are increasing while the emergence of big science events. It is the striving direction for sic-tech communication to reach the essence of scientific events, to have a hand in the proceeding of sic-tech development, to lessen public unease caused by deficiency of sci-tech knowledge, and to realize public understanding of science. Severe tests have been put forward as what, who, to whom, how to communicate, and how to optimize effects of communication. Networking of sic-tech communication, networking of blog to be exactly, provides new opportunities for sci-tech communication.Along with the emergence of Web2.0, as the forth media, network developed rapidly. Blog, as a kind of "me media", gathering words, pictures, music, videos and hyperlinks, provided more participatory for sci-tech communication. Blog, updated from Internet or mobiles, can convey science information, integrate science knowledge from in and abroad, offer mutual ways to realize the communication between the public and the elite of science. Blog were states on which science were performed. Science blog were new approaches for the public to get touch with science.Science blog refers to blogs concerning with science communication. It's new means to communicate scientific knowledge, scientific attitude, scientific culture, and scientific methods, via web logs by the aid of Web2.0. it can be divided into the following types, such as blogs of scientists, blogs of science fans, blogs owned by scientific community, and blog communities on portal sites. Those blogs focus on newly happened scientific events, scientific frontier, popularizing scientific attitude, and promoting public scientific' literacy. Science blog, with convenience of Internet and mutual feedback ways, changed the mode of science communication. The public accepted science knowledge actively, which requires abundant information. Science blog could comply with the trend and get the best effect in science communication.By analyzing present communication mechanism with examples of the 512 Wenchuan Earthquake and H1N1 flu, this paper defined four types of blogs concerning with science knowledge communication, deeply analyzed its features, communication methods and flow. This paper will bring forward valuable ideas to the research of science blog by probing into its effects and proposing countermeasures to its disadvantages.As the promotion of public scientific literacy, audiences were increasing. Blog websites, science channels on internet, and blog communities acting as "gatekeeper" became participatory media of science communication and formed science salon, enhancing information share. Through governments, NGO and scientists, science blog won big success in reports of science events, especially in disasters.Research of science blog was still in initial stage, because scientists dedicated themselves in laboratory study, and the public also paid little attention to participate scientific development. Lacking good gatekeeper made science communication unattractive. Therefore, to promote the communication effects and consummate science communication mechanism, we should, inspire enthusiasm of scientists and the public, enhance the work of gatekeeper, and draw lessons from other countries.It can be foreseen that more and more people will focus on Science blog as the development of science and the enhancement of communication.
