Litery Agents And The Development Of Chinese Publishing Industry

In the developed countries of the publishing industry, publishing agent has become a fairly mature industry.With deepening of China's reform on economic structure and boom of book market and broking, literary agents emerge as a new industry within the last ten years.Although literary agents have turned up,it is still immature and subjected by the management system.Authors, literary agents, publisher, distributors and booksellers have formed a new publishing network that has involved writing,printing and distribution.Therefore,it is necessary and important for researchs in how to perfect our current literary agents' development.This thesis discuss the theoretical active effect of literary agents to publishing industries.It is argues that publishing agents play an active role in reducing of publishing costs,improving the publication efficiency,optimizing resource allocation and developing the economic in publication of copyright.And expound the condition of publishing industries and process of literary agents.Analyse current situation of China's publishing agent affect on the development of China's publishing industry.This thesis argues that the disadvantage of publishing industries confine the literary agents.Based on the reasearch above, the article mentions the constructive comments for the development and improvement of the publishing agents,by learning from the development experience of foreign country and the other agents,and the actual situation in our country.The thesis advance some constructive suggestions on how to perfect our literary agents'development.It means,in one hand, to improve the publishing operating environment,including the copyright protection and contract awareness;in the other hand, to establish some organizations to regulate the industry.Besides,improving the relevant laws and rules is also important.
