In recent years, rapid development of network information technology led the transformation of traditional teaching methods,ore and more colleges and schools start to use virtual learning environment centering on network information technology to supplement traditional classroom teaching.Virtual learning environment provides a great amount of valuable materials for the learners.The learners could break the restriction of time and space,and actively learning outside the classroom at anytime, anywhere.By using this teaching method to assist classroom lectures,better learning effects can be obtained.Integrated virtual learning environments(IVLEs) which are combined with digital library resources make the connection between the traditional virtual learning environments and digital library resources and services to achieve the maximum amount of learning resources.But when the learner retrieve data in the system,the massive of learning resources must bring problems like "dirty data" and "Massive Data".In an era of emphasize the personalized development,how to provide appropriate learning resources to different learner,and enabling the system recommendation the learning resources more scientifically and accurately,and realize the true personalized Learning,become a hot research topic in the research field. Ontology was first proposed in the field of philosophy,and was introduced in the field of artificial intelligence recently.Using the technology of ontology,the real world can be abstract modeling according to different areas and the semantic relationships between entities in an area can be detailed description.Onyology provides a unified standard to semantically description the objective world.In the area of personalized learning,the technology of ontology was used in two aspects.One is learner modeling,and another one is resources description and organization.Using ontology,characteristics and needs of different learner can be clearly described,and the learner's needs and backgroud can be understood by computer at the semantic level.Describe and organize the learning resources with ontology and ralated technology,the confusion of concepts and terminology can be reduced or eliminated,the characteristics of resources can be expressed more better.Realized the knowledge-based resources retrieval use computer.The thesis summarize and analysis the progress and problems of IVLEs and personalized learning.A detailed description of the ontology,learning resource description specification and user modeling technology was given.Then,a system model of Ontology-Based Personalized Integrated Virtual Learning Environments—OBP-IVLEs was proposed.In this system,the learner ontology model was reasonable constructed.And the learning resources ontology was constructed by taking into account the division of Universities,curriculum division and knowledge space theory.Rely on the advantages of semantic and reasoning technology of ontology,the system can give different resources to different learner,and realize the real personalized learning.At last,a prototype of the system was given.
