Implementation Of Embedded Realtime Streaming Server

Streaming media technology is playing an important role in modern Internet application. Video surveillance and network multimedia applications are developing rapidly. As the 3rd generation mobile telecommunication era comes, streaming application may be widely used in mobile devices. Streaming media server is the key component of a streaming system. This dissertation discuss about streaming media related technology and implement an real-time embedded streaming server on TI Davinci platform. The major contribution of this dissertation includes :1. Have an in-depth study of contemporary streaming media technology, and make analysis of RTP, RTCP, RTSP and SIP.2. Designed and implemented an embedded linux-based streaming media server running on DM355 embedded system.3.
