The Design And Implementation Of IMS Sharing Number

With the development of 3G network technology, IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) has been more and more widely used, and it is one of the core technologies of next generation network. IMS is submitted in support of IP multimedia subsystem in Release5 version by 3GPP. It is a multimedia control platform on PS domain and is introduced to the NGN architecture in TISPAN. Its core features are the adoption of SIP protocol and the independence of access, which provides a common business platform for future multimedia application. And it can meet the customers'needs for more novel and more diversified multimedia business.Along with the promotion and gradually spread deployment of IMS technology, the traditional CS network can not be replaced suddenly, so in a long period time there will be a co-existence period between IMS network and the traditional CS network. And during this time they are in a counter-balance relationship. CS network is gradually shrinking and IMS network is gradually strong. For the convenience of users and the smoothness of network evolution, the issues of sharing number between IMS network and CS network will be an important research topic. This text is precisely aimed at this problem, combined with the author's intern experience in China Mobile Research Institute, some researches have been done on IMS sharing number scheme. According to the scene analysis and business needs of the sharing number, I have the comparative analysis on both modes which are the activity in the single network and the activity in the double network of the sharing number's voice business technology scheme. Also, i do the detail analysis of the sharing number's message business scheme and propose my own views to achieve flexibility schedule between the two networks. It is convinced that these schemes would meet users and operators needs better.
