Ever since China joined WTO(World Trade Organization) in December2001,China’s economy gradually integrate into global economy. Along with the rapiddevelopment of economic globalization, the position of international business incommercial banks is rising. And the growing competition among banks pushedforward the development of electronic processing of the banking business.With the fast increase of international business in China, domestic financialinstituions began to pay attention and build their own electronic InternationalBusiness systems. Nowadays most instituions start to revamp or build system forthe data centralization.International business processing system added to core banking systems, bringselectronic processing of international business such as settlement, foreign exchangeguarantees, trade financing, foreign exchange, agency banking management.Although core banking system and international business system has beeninter-connected with SWIFT (key system for internaional business), but the limitationand defect of these systems hindered the further development of internatinalbusiness. Hence, it is necessary to build a powerful information processing platformbetween SWIFT and bank systems, to realize information sharing and businesssharing, and better utilization of resources.The task of this article, is to clearly analyze the international business ofdomestic commercial banks, study the SWIFT and peripheral systems, then providean international business processing platform to commercial banks based on actualbusiness requirements and utilize popular software development framework andconstruction techniques.
