The Implementation Of Core Modules In NMS For EPON-WiMAX Convergence Acess Network

With the development of IPTV and video-on-demand high-bandwidth requirements of business, network access technology is becoming hot. Broadband, ubiquitous and integration have become an important future goal of network access development and the evolution of trends. And EPON and WiMAX wireless convergence access network technology is one of these main technical means that are consistent with the development trend of the access network.In order to monitor for communications equipment and configuration, the general large-scale communications equipment, either the core network or the access network, either wired or wireless network, needs a large network management system. This article is mainly focus on research and development for the network management part of National 863 project "The key technology of dynamic heterogeneous integrated access network supporting P2P and multicasting". Following contents is intended to introduce:1) According to the main characteristics of the new access network, analysis the network management software requirements, design the main structure of network management, divide up modules by function, identify the SNMP protocol, JAVA development language, NetBeans Integrated Development Environment.2) According to the integration of the structural characteristics of the access network, design the principles of services mapping, analysis bandwidth constraint relations, proposes a bandwidth-constrained allocation algorithm, and at last design and implement services management module.3) According to the characteristics of the access network, design and implement the topology managerment module. During this crouse, design the principles of topology discovery, build and layout, propose algorithm of topology automatic layout and automatically re-layout, 4) Summarizes the alarms of the convergence network, design and implement the alarm managerment module. In this process, define the informations of special traps, and propose the incorporation algorithms of the alarms.
