Design And Implementation Of Automatic Test For Mscrm System

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) centralized manage customer resources by information technology. It links analyzed customer information to their business areas so that every department such as the marketing,customer service and others can share the customer resources. The company enables to track customer needs and provide products and services depend on it.It's obvious that the customer satisfaction and loyalty will be improved.With the growing competition of all kinds of CRM software in the market, more and more customers and developers pay their attention to the testing process which is important to software's quality.Now the testing we called is not just the functional testing after finished code of development,but penetrated into every aspect of the life cycle gradually. With the increasing importance of testing, testing workload is also increased and the demand for automatic test become stronger. especially in Regression Test, there are difficulties about heavy workload, highly repeated test steps, testers need automation test to reduce the workload of manual testing, as well as manual testing risks, in order to guarantee the quality of released software.The automation test system this paper talks about is an internal system to resolve the following problems during the testing by Microsoft CRMSE Test Team: prepare the test environment every time, repeating Regression Test etc. After implementation of automatic test system in the actually project in CRMSE Team, the automatic test can be held as 7*24 testing pattern,obviously reduced the workload of Regression Team and improved the test quality.This paper first introduces the background,discuss the concept of automatic testing, then through the comparison with manual test to indicate the predominance and defect of automatic testing. Based on actual requirements in test project of CRMSE Team, first takes requirements analysis for the automation test system, discuss the design of CRM Automation test system and discribes the process for using this automation test system. At last, paper summarizes the advantage of CRM automation test system and describes the existent problems and advance its prospects for future work.
