With the advantages of convenient networking, low costs,great anti-disaster ability, HF communication has its irreplaceable role in the military, disaster relief and other special occasion.In 1999 the U.S. military issued the third-generation HF communication systems (MIL-STD-188-141B).However, China's national military standards (GJB 2077-94, Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) of HF adaptive communication system),followed by national military communications equipment, refers to U.S. military the second-generation HF communication systems (MIL-STD-188-141A).So,it is very important to increase the research of automatic Link Establishment in the third-generation HF communication systems and to promoting the development of China's 3G-ALE system.This paper focuses on the research and implementation of the ALE system of 3G HF communication.Firstly, this paper introduces the subject background, the study history and status of 3G HF communication systems.Secondly, in chapter two,this paper introduce the new technique character in 3G-ALE which are different from 2G-ALE,and the function of 4 modules in 3G-ALE.Thirdly, this paper introduces the ARM9200 board, and how to build the Linux plan on ARM9200 Platform.Finally, this paper introduces the implementation program of 3G-ALE, implements modules and processes, and the interface module of ARM9200 Platform.We test the implementation program on ARM9200 Platform, verify the fuction fo individual call, unicast call,multicast call,and broadcast call.
