GPRS Application On The Monitoring System Of Hydrology Data

The automatic monitoring system of hydrologic data is a system which adopts computer and communication technology to conduct the data collection Transmission and data processing about the river lakes and reservoir. The scope of the hydrologic data monitoring system is widespread. It needs effectiveness especially at the critical time of flood and typhoon prevention. It can report the hydrologic data promptly, stably, safely and accurately. At present, it has become a necessary system of the flood prevention work.This article elaborates the basic principle of automatic monitoring system of hydrologic data based on GPRS, a wireless automatic network for monitoring hydrology, and some practical measures of monitoring system of hydrologic data based on GPRS according to the knowledge of it. GPRS overcomes the weakness of the traditional automatic hydrology monitoring network in date collection and transmission, and make it automatically by integrating the technology of mobile transmission and computer networks.By explaining the principle and network structure of GPRS, We can know how to make up the monitoring system of hydrologic data. The technology of GPRS has its vantage, but it also has shortcomings, this article tells us how to improve it objectively.
