Nowadays information technologies develop so rapidly that the unexpected trouble of heterogeneous date is brought to data sharing of business to business and even inner-enterprise. Integration of heterogeneous date has become a focus and hotspot of compute technology research. This thesis mainly studies data integration of inner-enterprise relational heterogeneous database, whose goal is to provide a unified data access interface, so that user can transparently access all heterogeneous database of the inside integration system. There are usually three data integration methods, which include federal database, data warehouse and middleware. This thesis realized heterogeneous data integration adopting middleware combined with web service.The main work in this thesis is listed as follows. Firstly, a data integration system was proposed on the basis of studying the principle and methods of heterogeneous data integration, which take advantages of middleware and web service. Secondly, a middleware layer was added in the traditional B/S mode to process data, so that user could transparently access all heterogeneous database. And then we chose appropriate tools to realize the system after analyzing and designing middleware. Finally, the system was applied to failure predict system. The result of application indicated that the data integration system based on middleware can effectively solve the problem of heterogeneous data integration.
