With the scientific and technological development, increasing people's standard of living, the second generation communications system of voice calls,simple data processing operations can not meet the daily needs of the masses, 3G's appearance have just to solve this problem. Video calls, Internet access speeds increase and Video on Demand and other services, to people's lives 3G communication system is to provide maximum convenience.Since 3G networks is all IP-based, video calls, Video on Demand and other services on the real-time requirements are very high, so the precise network time synchronization between devices is particularly important.This paper introduced various protocols,such as NTP network time protocol, SNTP protocol, and compared the advantages and disadvantages between the two, highlighted IEEE1588PTP time protocol, and explained the PTP protocol and the propagation delay through the offset correction to the system of any two clocks with clock synchronization.For a communication system, the ability to ensure the call quality is very important. During a phone call,if a customer have too many dropped calls, cross talks and more delays, the customer complainted the rate would increase and directly affected the quality of service businesses. In order to ensure that these, in the system manipulation to achieve clock synchronization between devices is necessary also very important. IEEE1588 Time Protocol, which can make the system compared the time betweeen the two clocks, the difference of their time's accuracy is reached to nanosecond, which greatly improved the delay during a call. Customers for wireless Internet, clock synchronization is also ever important, it can improved the host and the server connection speed, greatly increased the speed of the Internet. This article also describes the PTP protocol packet classification, equipment type and timestamp generation, highlighting the various PTP protocol packets, especially when in the course of using the Synchronous message, Follow-Up message, Delay Request message and Delay Response message.This design of the clock board communication equipment, including clock module: a very narrow band PLL module, clock synthesis module, real-time clock module, dual-motor control module and the 1588 clock module.Using the IEEE1588 precision clock synchronization protocol to control and calibration of various equipment which is non-synchronization between clock and synchronous Ethernet, based on IEEE1588 precision time protocol chips, to get accurate network timestamp, to improve the accuracy of clock synchronization. For the best master clock algorithm is a time into the network packets's identification for the first time, the algorithm is divided into two parts, the first ,two or more clocks to compare their own data set to determine the state in this system should be the master clock, the slave clock, or from non-master non-slave clock, and then by the decision algorithm is to determine the state of their status in the system.Finally, network synchronization clock board is synchronizating clocks in demo board.Which the workers job id the future of communication systems between the various devices to provide a precise clock synchronization of the references.
