Distributed network measurement system is a orientation of Measurement and Control Technology,and the time synchronization is one of the key technologies in distributed network measurement system. This thesis is based on IEEE1588 protocol, accomplish the software implemention of IEEE1588,the main research work as follows:1.Bring forward a system architecture of distributed network measurement system.Decide on ARM9 as processor,give a implementation of network measurement and control instrument and time synchronization;2.Study the manner of time transfer,the basic theory and principle of time synchronization,Network Time Protocol.Based on IEEE1588 protocol,study the elements of PTP system,the time synchronization mechanism,communication sytem topology,the best master clock algorithm of PTP protocol, specification of clock state and the time synchronization process among the system device.Bring forward three factors that influence the precision of time synchronization:network element factor,operating system and protocol stack factor and unstable factor of clock,and bring forward corresponding compensation methods;3.Design the hardware platform of measurement and control instrument according to actual needs of project,include minimum system circuit,memory circuit,DM9000 internetwork communication circuit,USB functional interface circuit,power supply and reset handler circuit,and build the developer platform of Linux.Design,test and transplant the device driver of primary function blocks,exploitation the correspondingly application;4.Aim at measurement and control instrument of ARM-Linux,bring forward a soft implement based on IEEE1588,design the soft implemention of time stamp,clock server, achieve the time synchronization based on PTP protocol.This thesis is based on IEEE1588 protocol, accomplish the software implemention of IEEE1588,experiment and simulation indicate it's feasible,can meet the project requirements.
