Research And Application Of Esb-based Enterprise Integration Framework

We are experiencing the fastest development of global information technology than ever. Horizontally, enterprises have more clear division of work and more business management applications. Vertically, updates and new releases of those applications are needed as time goes on. In order to make the cooperation more smoothly and effectively between internal departments or external partners, in order to take advantage of the reasonable resources and the functionality of software applications, in order to make the information facilities to meet the future development trend. The demand of building an enterprise application integration platform for existing applications is increased dramatically. Therefore, we propose an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) framework to solve the common problem of enterprise application integration.The proposed framework is a basic framework of building an enterprise application integration platform. This framework will solve general problems of enterprise applications integration.Based on ESB technology, we create a number of common modules. With these common modules,we can build enterprise application integration platform in very short period of time. The methodology of building such a framework is as follows: First, we decompose a complex integration business process into a number of simple business processes. Second, based on ESB-based (Enterprise Service Bus) enterprise application integration framework, we can implement these simple business processes. Finally,we can implement the"information on demand"integration on EAI framework.This paper is organized as following sequence:We have researched a number of most popular enterprise application integration technologies in China and abroad. We have studied their properties and present situation. We propose a solution to the problems existed in ESB-based enterprise application integration framework.In this paper, we start from business model,system requirement,combine ESB technology,make a design for technique platform,software architecture and database. We have implemented the platform for a large vehicle manufacturer. The implementation includes core framework application, technique choice and environment of development and deployment choice. We illustrated architecture view,use case view,logical view,process view,deployment view,implement view and data view. We also studied the implementation of an integration process through a case study of data flow.Finally,we verify the framework in practice. It passed the performance testing (response time and throughput). It met the requirements. During trial run,the platform demonstrated good security and stability. The Proposed solution was verified and improved in the practice.
