The concept of trusted computing is introduced by people to improve the current security features of the distributed computing network. It is believed that a hardware platform with TPM/TCM in it is the best way to keep the integrity and the credibility of the system. According to the security situation, a kind of high performance TCM which can be used in servers is needed. This paper has done a lot of researches, and puts forward a hardware design for TCM.In the paper, the principles of trusted computing, the classification of TCPs, as well as the attacking ways are discussed. On this basis, a kind of hardware architecture verification platform is then established for the basic functions of the TCM. FPGA is chosen to act as the PCI Express interface chip for it is more flexible to implement other logic. Some hardware simulations have also done to improve its reliability.However, a hardware platform is provided not only for the current TCM software design, but also for the future design of the TCM chip. The design of FPGA based PCI Express interface also has some reference value for other high speed transmission hardware design.
