Digital electronic speed governor is made up of specific microcontroller and some input, output interface circuit. Most parts in this system are realized by means of programming, except input/output signal conversion. So the system reduces the dependence of signals, has strong flexibility, can realize complicated control strategies and algorithm, it can even achieve self-tuning for control parameters. The main purpose of this paper is to realize digital electronic in terms of software and hardware. First of all, we analyse the work principles and control strategies of electronic speed governor. By taking advantage of the characters of MC9S12XS128, we design the hardware circuit. Then we adopt double closed-loop control system based on the characters of this system. In order to compensate for the shortcomings of conventional PID control, we put forward fuzzy PID control strategy.Secondly, by transplantingμC/OS-II operating system to Freescale's MC9S12XS128 microcontroller, we analyse the work characteristics of electronic speed governor, and design a series of tasks, which are meeting its work characteristics. Under the scheduling ofμC/OS-II, these tasks can communicate with each other and meet the work characteristics of electronic speed governor. Finally, based on the principle of environmental protection, we proposed exhaust gas recirculation technology (EGR). With digital electronic speed governor as a platform, exhaust gas recirculation technology can reduce vehicle emissions of NOx. The application of EGR technology in diesel engine has been an inevitable trend.
