As the economy continues to develop, institutions and personnel within the enterprise is setting more and more streamlined, and management also continue to move toward optimizing. Facing the heavy office tasks, peoples find it is important to establish of office automation systems of computer technology, communication technology-based. Through the use of internal information management systems, we will improve the quality of office environment, improve the office efficiency, reduce the labor intensity of office staff, and promote the standardization and institutionalization of office work. As enterprise reform this is an important issue.Proceeding from the real case of SMEG, for existing problems in the development process of present office automation system, this paper introduces the concept of configuration in the office automation system. And then, combined with the concept of enterprise features, it proposes a solution of configuration-based office automation system(CBOA system) in order to solve the contradictions between large-scale production of software and individual requirements of enterprises, and to offer the continued support of business process re-issue.The paper first introduces the background of the topic in this paper, the basic situation and development history of OA system, the role of enterprise information management and the practical difficulties of OA system development. Moreover, the paper proposes the research topics of this article and introduces the main contents of this article.Then, the paper introduces the basic technologies in this project. As the most advanced technology in process management, workflow is used in the design of flow definition tool and flow control engine. XML technology gives convenient and normative data format to the form definition and process definition. Access control technology assists the design of system rights management.In the following, proceeding from the actual needs of SMEG, the paper describes the system design requirements, the various functions of the system and the specific business processes. Moreover, the paper gives the function planning of the system to achieve the function of CBOA system proceeding from the processes, forms, and rights which are the three core elements of OA system.This paper focuses on the design and implementation of configuration-based function. Firstly, combined of workflow technology, this paper establishes the directed graph-based workflow model, conducts a formal description of its basic concepts, and then uses this model to design the flow definition tool and flow control engine. After that, it achieves the function of process-configuration. Secondly, based on XML technology, it made custom form design patterns to achieve the function of form-configuration. Finally, with the analysis of the shortage of commonly used access control model, the role and task-based access control model is used to achieve the function of permission-configuration.Finally, the paper describe the realization of CBOA system. Detailed introduction of system architecture in SMEG is given, and you can also see some screenshots of the completed system. The feasibility and practicality of this paper can be proved through the application.To sum up, this article achieves the office business streamlined, standardized, controlled to meet the user needs by introducing the technology of configuration into the office automation systems. We hopes of similar applications for the industry reference.
