The Application And Research Of Workflow In OAS

Aiming at the main problems and lacks which current Office Automation Workflow System has, this paper proposes a new design approach that is applied in BeiJiang Levee OA Workflow System and also presents some valuable trials for improving the flexibility and applicability of OA Workflow System.After studying the norm of WfMC, and combined with users' requirements to BeiJiang Levee OA Workflow System, this paper presents a new structure model of OA Workflow System which measures up to criteria of WfMC and has three-layers structure. Then, the opening, expansibility and maintenance of the System are improved effectively. At the same time, a new mode of data storage, in which the application data are separated from process data, is presented in the structure model and then, the problem of reuse of process stencil is resolved. Considering the ability of process description and convenience, this paper presents a new idea of process definition that uses only one design element. Ordinary flow types, such as sequence flow, branch flow, selective branch flow, joint flow, selective joint flow and the combination of all above flow types can be described by using the new idea. And cooperating with relevant flow control algorithm, it can improve the ability of description to complex flows and predigest the process of modeling. In this paper, the author analyzes the rationality and optimization of workflow and makes academic research on realization of workflow engine. The theory of RBAC has been imported into the OA Workflow System model mentioned in the paper. So, its flexibility is improved. Also, the purview of data access in management system and the authorization in operation process are realized better. In the process of the flow of documents, conservation of document modification trace is realized by transferring Word. Moreover, this paper also presents process definition tools that are based on the graphical modeling and make users define complex processes directly. B/S structure improves the applicability and maintainability of the System.The practice has proved that the author's new design approach has achieved good results. And also, these design methods have some reference value in developing Workflow Management System that processes high dependability, flexibility and adaptability.
