The visual monitoring system of flexible manufacturing line is integrated with fieldbus technology, computer communications technology, multimedia and video technology, and software programming technology. The system can implement the scene running visual monitoring, production scheduling and on-site equipment remote control.Nowadays, manufacturing automation technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, production without people at the scene, scheduling and monitoring the production process of workshops or factories from the central control room is bound to be a trends of the production in the development of the manufacturing sector in the future. The flexible manufacturing line laboratory was invested and lead by the Advanced Manufacturing Institue of NEU since last summer,which is built by Googol Technology Limited, to meet the need of some disciplines of teaching,such as industrial automation, mechanical and electrical integration, numerical control technology, fieldbus and computer network communication technology, robotics, and so on. On the basis of all hardware and software in the original equipment,I made the visual monitoring system of flexible manufacturing line.According to the process of making the visual monitoring system of flexible manufacturing line, the paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction,which introduced the topic as well as the domestic and foreign research level of visual monitoring system at the present.The second chapter introduced the processing technology of flexible manufacturing system,and explained the environments of the monitoring system, and lay out the overall blue print to design the monitoring system.The third chapter is aim at the research of the communication between the monitor computer with the other equipments at the manufacturing field.This chapter is design to do some basic theory for the following chapters---chapter four and chapter five,which are the focus of this paper.Detailed in chapter four, I explained the steps to make the front monitoring interface,which is a embedded Flash animation with logical actionscript code inside. Chapter five is the implement of the visual monitoring system finally, I used the programming tools Visual C++to achieve the integration of this visual monitoring systems and control terminal.In this chapter, flow chart of the system, the core code example and the final run-time monitoring pictures of the visual monitoring system are included.Chapter six summarized the whole thesis and discussed possible development trends in this field in the future.In summary, I brought forward a set of innovative solution to the visual monitoring sytem.And I did it under the background of pratical application in the flexible manufacturing lab and with some basic theory in the field of visual monitoring.The work is important for development of visual monitoring sytem.
