In the production process of polyvinyl acetate emulsion adhesive, polyvinyl alcohol solution is taken as the main raw material. Its stability and adhesive strength have direct impact on the process of PVA acetal, furtherly affect the product quality. In the preparation process of PVA solution, the key parameters (such as temperature, stirrer speed, etc.) of molding equipment need real-time monitoring to ensure the precision of process. Currently, the commercial software possesses huge function and high price in the market of monitoring software. How to realize the effective monitoring and control for the preparation process of PVA solution is the core to the paper.In this paper, the FIR digital filter, LMS adaptive filter and wavelet transform modulus maxima method in the field of digital filtering applications are studied deeply, and an improved LMS algorithm is proposed. At the same time, computer monitoring system for the preparation process of polyvinyl alcohol is developed based on Visual C + +, the temperature and stirrer speed are acquired during the confection process of polyvinyl alcohol resin solution. Moreover, the closed-loop PID controls, video surveillance, time picture-collection and time picture-preservation are achieved, and the studies of digital filtering algorithms are applied to this system successfully. Through the process of data acquisition, filtering, control, video surveillance, the stability, reliability and practicality of system are verified.
