Research On The Construction Of Hospital Information System Of The First Affiliated Hospital Of University Of South China

With advancement of the reform of national social security and medial insurance system and outward opening of health insurance after joining in the WTO, information management for health institutions is more and more needs in china. The construction of sanitation information is an important part of the national economy and society information .The research and development of hospital information system is an important part of sanitation information. The Computerization and networking of hospital information management will be necessary conditions for construction modernized hospital. Using the HMIS can improve the management,improve the quality and make efficiency,etc.The first Affiliated Hospital of nanhua University is a large-scale modernization of the provincial general hospital which encompassing services of medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention. With the increasing volume of business and management level and breakthrough of management concept, the hospital need to re-planning and construction of the Hospital Information System, optimize the business processes, improving management efficiency urgently, achieving the ultimate goal of completely digitization. From the international information trend,we introduce the basic concept of the HMIS. Then we introduce the research result and applied actuality of the HIS all over the world. The paper deeply study the information system which used currently by hospital we know the Inadequate of it. On this basis, general design of information system was proposed that including overall objective of system, the system architecture and operating environment and system functional structure diagram. The new HIS is divided into five parts, including economic management, clinical treatment, medicines management, integrated management and statistical analysis and the external interface. The paper carried out a detailed analysis and design on the all sub-modules of system and drawn the system operational flow chart. The system comprehensive upgrade carried out a comprehensive medical and business process optimization. The new information system on-line running not only improved the level of service , meet the reasonable demands of patients in time, but also strengthened the management to medical staff, medical quality and medical cost, greatly enhanced the market competitiveness of the hospital.
