Video surveillance is an important part of security and integrated system providing stronger prevention capabilities.It is widely used on many occasions with its intuitive, accurate, timely and rich information content.The technology is widely used in industries and has played a very important role for the safe operation of all walks of life and the real-time monitoring. With the progressive development of social information, it gradually developed from the traditional security monitoring to the management and monitoring and production control,and provides more intuitive, more effective decision-making information. In recent years, because of the rapid development of the computer networks,communication technology ,multimedia technology, and the covering scale of the surveillance system has been increased, a higher requirements of the quality control for real-time video transmission has appeared.It's very necessary to do a research for a algorithm which can guarantee the real-time video transmission quality,which is the background of this study.In order to accomplish the core goals of the algorithm of video network adaptive transmission,first of all,the development of video monitoring system is made.secondly,the development trend of video surveillance systems is introduced,which is digital surveillance system,and then,the key technical is discussed.Firstly,video compression is studied.Secondly,the streaming media transmission is discussed.Last,a algorithm based on ideas and RTP packet reception buffer is proposed.At the end of this paper,the software based on the algorithm proposed in the paper is made,and the system network topology and system specific implementation of each module are given that forms a complete set of digital monitoring system...
