Educational Administration Information Management System Based On J2EE

With the rapid development of computers and net technology, computer office automation is widely used in work. This dues to the information system, and greatly improve people's working efficiency. However, most schools in our country still base their work on papers, which has a bad impact on their working efficiency, and also make their teaching management system fall far behind other industries. Now, many schools have built up campus intranet with their own information managing system. But, few are fit for the school teaching management. Therefore, it is very essential to develop a teaching information management system, basing on the real need of school teaching work.School teaching work has to deal with information on all their teachers, students, and courses. There are so many majors in schools, also with so many courses like major courses, branch courses, elective courses, ect. Thus it is an inevitable trend to develop a teaching information management system. With structural systematic analysis and design, an efficient teaching information management system will make teaching managing work scientific and regular, and improve efficiency.This paper introduces the design and application technology of teaching information management system, through aspects such as system needs analysis, system detail design, practice of all function modules, and system setting test. Establishing system database and practice of application program are the two main parts in developing the system. MyEclipse is the tool for developing application program. It has mice screen, simple operation, and convenient usage. SQL Server 2000 is the tool for developing system database. The system fits the management of teacher manuals, student marks, teaching plans, and testing papers. It meets the needs of vocational schools, lightening their work load, saving their time.Meanwhile, the school leaders can check it out anytime. At the end of the paper, it commends on the advantages and disadvantages of the system, stats what needs to be improved, gives some improving suggestions, and talks about the experience of the system design.
