The Research And Implementation Of Gmf-based Tool For Web Rapid Development

Software crisis, which has been being the nightmare to software developer, goes worse with the promotion and application of Web technology. Rapid Developing Tools are the key way to solve the software crisis, and Rapid Developing Tools of Web System have been being a hot spot in recent years.Visual developing is the most important way to implement Rapid Developing Tools of Web System. With the graphical developing of"get want you see"mode, a business developer could pay his attention to the business, while a code developer could pay his attention to coding; it will accelarate the development of software. Software reuse theory is an important method in Rapid Application Developing. Component software technology, the representative of software reuse, could reduce the cost of developing and maintenance, and improve the productivity and quality of software.After analyzing the features of Rapid Developing Technology and Tools, this paper principally researches and implements a graphical Tool of Web Radid Developing. Firstly, with the GMF technology and CJS platform, a graphical business logic editor and a graphical presentation logic editor are designed and implemented.Secondly, base on Graphical Logic Editor, with SWT/JFace and Velocity template engine technology, a rapid developing wizard of data maintaining system is designed and implemented, which will automaticly generate the applications of data mataining. In this process, what developers need to do is to set parameters step by step according to the wizard.The experiments and applications show that the Rapid Developing Tool of Web System described in this paper could effectively improve the efficiency of developing, shorten the cycle and reduce the cost.
