Research Of A Network Point Monitoring System That Is Based Upon Protocol

Nowadays,many kinds of network manage softs such as OPENVIEW have the factor of monitoring the network operating, which install the probes in the monitored network servers and equipments, and use the probes to get the running information about the monitored equipments, and transfer the data to the control station, then can grasp the information about the running of equipment. But in most cases, we are in the un-controlled network, we can not install any monitor in the key network servers or equipments,so we can't grasp the server quality from the network operators easily through the effect ways, and can not understand the effects through many kinds of network attack and the losses of the attacked ones.In this paper, we mostly analyze the SNMP network monitior model and some correlative technology on the basis of TCP/IP.In some cases, especially in the un-controled network, most monitior softs with this network model will meet some proplems.According to the proplems we bring about a network point performance monitor on the base of protocol, which monitor the un-controled network point by simulating the natural service protocol,for example, SMTP,POP3,FTP,HTTP and so on. In view of the system's some characteristic such as distributed, real time hidden features and so on, we bring about a construction of network point monitor on the basis of protocol.According to some proplems in the process of work, we put forward some solution to solve them, such as how to dispose the Agents in the different flats,and process the data from the Agent monitor effective.
