Soft-switched Network Design And Implementation Of Call Agents,

The paper firstly introduces the conception and function model of NGN, and describes the key technology of NGN, Soft Switch. Secondly it analyses the background, network structure and current applications of Soft Switch. Finally, it expatiates the design and program of call agent in Soft Switch network.The paper explicates Media Gateway Control Protocol and H.323 Protocols used in call agent's project, including the call model, the protocol's structure and message of MGCP, and RAS protocol, H.225.0 protocol, H.245 protocol in H.323 Protocols. Furthermore, it shows a call's whole process from set up to released by these protocols. Lastly, it depicts the function model, the logical control and central data structure of call agent.
