IPTV is the integration service of telecommunications networks, cable TV networks and the Internet, The development of the three networks convergence can improve the ARPU value, keep the subscriber, and reduce the churn rate. More important, it opens a door for the opportunity of the new service, new revenue,new business style, At the same time it also relates to the future of transformation in strategic areas,either network or technology.Currently, the IPTV service is still in elementary step, whether technology or management are-still not mature. This article is based on the technology,through analysising about the "extensibility of IP address, quality assurance, resource utilization,cost of investment, implementation complexity and maintainability" etc, and finally get the conclusion to use CN2+MAN method to bear IPTV.To ensure the ability of the operation and monitoring for IPTV, we do a deep research about the quality monitoring system in this article, and offer suggestion for about the monitoring point deploy, at the same time,in this article,we offer solutions to resolve the bottleneck of IPTV service quality.Finally, based on the results of IPTV bearing scheme, in ZheJiang telecom, we arrange a test in current network,to ensure the capabilities of technical support for the IPTV service, the result shows that all are perfect.With the policy about IPTV gradually clear,the IPTV service meet a golden development. the research achievements of this article will give a strong technical support for IPTV commercialization, and also it launch a basis and guidance for IPTV network maintaince. it has cleared away the technoloy obstaclesunch on IPTV development.
