Muti-Agent-Based Network Management System With B/S Architecture

The network evolution and development of technologic rapidly expanse the size of network supported. The hardware devices become more and more complex and heterogeneous.An effective network management system will enhance the overall performance of the network to ensure the normal operation of various services.The paper presents a system design and implementation method of Multi-Agent-based B/S architecture network management. It leads intelligent development technology into the development of network management innovatively and meanwhile designs a Java-based development mode integrating B/S and C/S architecture.As a result, it provides a feasible solution for intelligent and distributed network management and is significance for further in-depth research.The system abstracts configuration, performance, security, fault and accounting function into independent intelligent Agent combining with the characteristics of Agent-agent and multi-Agent technology. Through consultation and communication between each other Agents realize administrative tasks.Integrating the the advantages of height interactivity, reliable security control, fast response in C/S and consistent, real-time and traceable data, high code reuse etc in B/S,Browser/Server architecture is used to achieve the dynamic release of information and WEB-based management style in the NMS.Database support use C/S development method connecting through JDBC.
