Now by the global widespread use's Internet protocol is IPv4, its design concept has accomplished the present internet successfully, its core value manifests in simple, nimble and openness. Technologically speaking, IPv4 has played the influential role in the past's application, and has obtained the magnificent achievement. But along with recent years Internet application's sharp growth, IPv4 already revealed many problems, like the IP address is deficient, the security is not in inlays, the network management complex and so on, IPv4 was already unable to satisfy the existing network need to develop. IPv6 is the new generation Internet protocol which is designed by IETF, uses 128 bit address sizes, expanded the address space, has solved the address short problem once and for all. At the same time, it also provides the different type the address disposition for the host interface, like the global unicast address, multicast the address and so on.This article precisely analyzes transition plan which is from IPv4 to IPv6 and test this plan. Needs to pay attention to three questions in from IPv4 to the IPv6 smooth transient process:firstly, how to use the existing IPv4 resources fully, saves the cost and protects the original user's benefit; Secondly, it realize the information highly effective seamless transmission while realizes network equipment interconnection; Thirdly, from IPv4 to IPv6 should be gradual and the evolution as far as possible simple. In the test stage, mainly aims at the present network situation of China Mobile to carry on the analysis, the design and the test.This article describes following parts:1. Summarizes the IPv6 transition technology, and introduces now main several kinds of tunnel technologies. Currently there are three basic techniques to solve the transition problem:DualStack, Tunnel and NAT-PT. The theories of tunnel technology's several kinds of key technologies are introduced emphatically by this article.2. Analyses based on tunnel technology IPv6 bearing network transition program. First analyzes the demand of the IPv6 transition plan, and from must be met and the reference satisfied demand two aspects carries on the analysis. Then analyzes the IPv6 bearing network transition technology the application strategy and consided factor when the choice concrete technology. 3. Tests based on tunnel technology IPv6 bearing network transition program. Which one kind of technology that can be widely used, except looked that this technical standard whether does mature outside, and it is also very important that the corresponding equipment whether does support this technology. In other words, no matter how good your technique, the corresponding device does not support this technology, and then this technique can hardly be widely used. Therefore, it is necessary to test the tunnel technology on the actual network environment. According to the transition plan, design test programs and test cases, through analyzing test results in the actual network environment, can be obtained the conclusion of kinds of tunnel technology.
