As an important application of the IPv4/IPv6 transition technologies,the transition gateway resolves the issues of network communication in the circumstance of IPv4/IPv6 transition. However,the existing solutions of transition gateway mostly emphasize on the application research of NAT-PT,and fewly consider the security problems.So it is hard to satisfy the need of secure communication in complex transition scene.Along with the deepening of network transition,the network has become more and more complex and the security problems increase greatly.So how to improve the applicability and security has become an important issue that must to be researched and resolved.Based on study of the existing IPv4/IPv6 transition technologies,this paper put forward a new solution of transition gateway,and studied the key technologies of it.The main work of the paper is as follows:1.Analyzed the existing IPv4/IPv6 transition technologies,and discussed the problems that IPv4/IPv6 transition technologies applied in the transition gateway in the aspect of applicability and security.2.Put forward a whole solution of transition gateway based on the Netfilter framework,and pointed out the key issues that need to be solved.3.Designed a collaborative scheduling algorithm based on the character analysis,and realized the collaborative working among multiple transition technologies inside the transition gateway.4.Researched the compatibility between NAT-PT and IPSec protocol,analyzed and compared the existing compatibility solution,and put forward an enhanced NAT-PT and IPSec compatibility solution.5.Designed and realized the NAT-PT module in the transition gateway integrated with the enhanced NAT-PT and IPSec compatibility solution,and given the experiment test and performance analysis.
