Combined with the current trend of domestic and international construction machinery industry, the necessity and urgency of proposed construction machinery monitoring system is developed by analyzing its status and problems.A four-story model structure of construction machinery monitoring is proposed:engineering mechanical controller, engineering, mechanical supervisor, engineering machinery GPS positioning system and remote monitoring system.Today, embedded systems technology has been the most popular technology of the world. Transform traditional construction machinery by embedded systems technology in foreign countries has been increasingly widely used, but it is very few in the domestic construction machinery industry.The construction machinery remote monitoring of embedded devices described by this paper is a study on the construction machinery.The embedded engineering machinery monitor with ARM+Linux architecture mentioned in the text, including the deep research for the embedded ARM-Linux operating system on the ARM microprocessor transplant, has laid a good foundation for engineering machinery concrete realization of car monitor.The text decribes the construction from the chip to the hardware environment decribed, expressing PXA270 hardware circuit design process in detail.As the PXA270 microprocessor does not contain CAN controller, neither Linux kernel contains its CAN cheif driver, this text is on this in-depth study of the Linux device drivers for the preparation and implementation methods, and also for the main problems:memory handling, interrupt handling, I/O port address and clock issues such as an in-depth analysis.Finally, based on the aobve study results, a Linux-based ARM and engineering machinery monitor is successfully designed, the system uses Intel's XScale architecture based on thr embedded processor PXA270, transplanted dedicated to ARM's operating system Arm-Linux, through the CAN chief line and a Universal Serial chief with the bottom-board front-end control system and remote car GPS systems interconnection, highlighted by high-temperature reaction engineering machinery displaying real-time state parameters to achieve the data acquisition, real-time monitoring and other functions, which lays a good foundation for the local and remote monitoring.At present, the system has completed the commissioning phase, successfully applied to many domestic manufacturers of project machinery, and has gone abroad. From the practical prove, the system fully meets the requirements of construction machinery industry in functionality, stability and the applicability of complex environments, and has passed the relevant tests of state temperature, vibration and shock. It has a good human-computer interaction interface, strong environmental support from the software, convenient maintenance and debugging, but also confirms the validity and value of this text.
