As the rapid development of Internet technology, information technology and the computer industry, embedded systems become the focus of the most attention in the current IT industry. Linux operating system is a wide range of applications because of its open-source feature. Many developers choose Linux as the basis for the development of embedded software. However, in the domestic, software development lags behind the development of hardware and Linux-based software development always lags behind develop abroad. Therefore it is very valuable to comprehensivly analyse and research Bootloader and Linux transplantation.μC/GUI provides an efficient graphical user interface which is independent of the processor and LCD controller. It is widely applied by the characteristics of low power and used-small memory.Therefore, regarding Intel PXA270 chip as a platform of transplantation and the combination with the current research of Blob and Linux, the principles and mechanisms of the Blob and Linux are researched and analyzed on this platform. It is divided into three parts:1. System hardware analysis and description: it describes the project of ARM PC104 card and details in PXA270 function, the focus of this analysis is based on the hardware design. The various functional modules and specific hardware on the platform are analyzed.2. System software: it analyses a common embedded system software system including Bootloader (Blob) in order to achieve a complete, Linux porting and driver design for LCD, Serial port and network and so on. In the end, the result is tested on the platform. It is more convenient by improving the transplant. The root file system is designed and achieved by writing the script.3. Graphics software transplantation: a detaiLED analysis of theμC/GUI features and architecture, design and realization of transplantation on Linux.
