In recent years,with the proliferation of foreign film and television resources on Chinese network, there is a new group from civilian came into netizens' sight, they made the film and television resources which have been broadcast on the foreign medias only minutes earlier into the version with Chinese subtitle and post them on Chinese websites with all possible speed for people to watch or download. Throughout the process, they do not have any payment. The emergence of numerous translation groups meet our netizens' demand for watching the overseas film and television programs in a simultaneous way, even the New York Times considered that these Chinese teams "buffs slake thirst for U.S. TV shows".This paper aims to analysis the dual role of these translation groups-as disseminator and one as audience, from the perspective of communication. I have done certain information collections from members of a translation group formed by several college students in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and combined the technical theory of Marshall McLuhan, this paper refers to that translation groups plays two roles on Chinese network--"Network opinion leader" and new cross-cultural communication individuals.
