Driver is the leading factor to affect the road traffic safety, how to improve the adaptability of driver stress response is an important studying content for improving the traffic safety level.According to the theory that driver stress response can be trained, this paper establishes the driver stress training system based on the Microsoft DirectX technology, Visual C++ programming environment and several computer graphical software. The system includes three function blocks in all, the view subsystem, the controlling subsystem and the sound subsystem namely. In order to make the view subsystem more lifelike, nearly forty three-dimensional XFile meshes including vehicle models, traffic-sign models and curbstone models etc are upbuilt with 3ds Max and Photoshop, moreover this text uses a new technology named bones animation to realize the animation effect of character walking. The problem related to real-time interaction between keyboard or simulator and system is resolved, and the car realizes speedup, braking and turning by Direct3D Matrix transformation. At the same time, this system can play the sounds of engine, braking and trumpet. The entire system which is characteristic of plenty stress scene, smooth run and vivid interface could satisfy driver stress training basically and could give a hand for improving the driver stress response.
