Based on the development of the multimedia technology and IP networks, video application has become a hot issue and widely used by people around the world. Such as video conference systems, visual telephone and video on demand systems.In the condition, a video transmission system based on the H.264 algorithms and RTP protocol was proposed after long-term research on the basic theory of the video compression technique and network transport protocols. Firstly, the infrastructure and features of H.264 standard was introduced and some basic algorithms were considered. And then some protocols which are related to the multimedia transmission were discussed. Finally, Real-Time Transport Protocol is used as the transport method in our system.This thesis mainly focuses on the framework design of the H.264 real-time video transport system. The video coding layer algorithm was improved and the error concealment techniques are introduced, and follow by a novel congestion control algorithm based on RTP. Finally, a real-time video transport system is implement by DirectShow which is based on COM technology. The whole system is implemented by software technique and has a versatility use. |
