The Research Of The People's Livelihood News Of Chongqing Television Media Under The Sight Of Deliberative Democracy

The theory of Deliberative Democracy is introduced in this paper.This paper is unfolded with equality,participation,communication,rationality,consensus and so on as starting point which are the essence elements of the above theory.This paper discusses the Deliberative Democracy's directive significance for the People's livelihood news of Television Media.Under the guidance of the Theory of Deliberative Democracy,and with the analysis of status quo,this paper defines the social responsibility of the People's livelihood news,that is "training rational public,promoting the building of civil society".On this basis,this paper attempts from three aspects,which contains People's livelihood content, interactive way and participation in the main,to explore a sustainable development road for the transition and promotion of the People's livelihood news.The paper introduces the basic conception of the Deliberative Democracy.It also demonstrates the directive significance of the Deliberative Democracy in two aspects:the base of Deliberative Democracy in our country;the relevance between Deliberative Democracy and People's livelihood news.The theory of Deliberative Democracy originated from western politics and began to play an important role in our country's politics.One of the known and successful examples is the Democracy earnest talk which is recently gradually carried out in Wen ling in Zhejiang province.The theory is applied to the field of news media as well as the politics,the example is the Public Information Campaign which was originated from American in 1990s.The paper compares the People's livelihood news of Chongqing Television Media with the Democracy earnest talk and the Public Information Campaign in American, and then analyzes the status quo of China's people's livelihood.The paper tries to analyzes the social responsibility and communication function of the People's livelihood news.On this basis,the paper puts forward the way of development.In short,"appropriate contents, rational interaction ,and extensive participation."The scientific development road should be based on the premise of the dissemination of scientific ideas. Under the guidance of the Theory of Deliberative Democracy, the social responsibility and dissemination functions of the People's livelihood news need rereading in order to make it enriched and perfected.The introduction of equality,participation,communication,rationality,consensus and other elements promote People's livelihood news to make civilians as a fundamental and give priority to human development. And it further increases their social responsibility to developing the audience's rational thinking ability, capacity and promoting the building of civil society. People's livelihood news has inherent advantages in closing to the mass. It emphasizes the functions of information dissemination , provide services and clear up doubts .At the same time, it pays more attention to coordination and communication, the guidance of public opinion and the training of rational public. Through these, it becomes the effective communication bridge of the Government and the people.If we say that social responsibility and function is communication concept, which is invisible, the development path and practical activity of the media is visible. Because of the combination of theory and practice and the combination of vanity and reality, a successful news column will be created. Combining the social responsibility and function of the People's livelihood news,it can be considered that one People's livelihood news column,which has appropriate contents, rational interaction,and extensive participation is basically consistent with the conception of the Deliberative Democracy.It can be interpreted as being"expansion of communication contents and clever agenda-setting; objective and rational civilian perspective,popular and easy understanding of cvilian discourse,appropriate interaction and sincere communication; extensive participation,increasing public participation.In the end ,the article concludes that with the advent of new digital media age,competition in media market are stronger and stronger .Not only should People's livelihood news improve its own strength, it also should seek co-existence and development in the competition with other media and take a good road of "Media Convergence".The theory of Deliberative Democracy should be applied more to China's media, as well as other areas.Therefore,it will play an important role in promoting the development of various undertakings in the country.
